Halloween Bash 10-31-19
In what we’re hoping to make a new Leavenworth tradition, BML is hosting its First Annual Halloween Bash this year on Thursday, October 31.
The library’s doors will be open for party-goers only from 5-7 pm. Children of all ages from Crawford and surrounding counties are invited.
Providing a safe and fun environment for kids to dress up and celebrate is our goal. Because we love trick-or-treating, too, we are setting the party up to be an event kids can add into their rounds.
You can stop in and play a few games for candy, make a craft, grab a treat, and head back out to knock on doors. Or you can come at 5 and stay until 7.
It’s your party, you can do what you want to!
BML will have 6 games set up in stations in the main library. For each game a child plays, he or she will receive a small bag of candy.
Four craft stations will be set up in the Josie Breeden Children’s Learning Center, and children can choose to make one or all of them.
There will be a pumpkin painting station for older children (ages 9-16).
There will be a photo booth with fun Halloween props.
Kids can enter a Costume Contest just by stopping in and filling out an entry form. Winners will be announced at 6:45, and you must be present to win. There will be trophies for Best Costume, Funniest Costume, and Most Creative Costume.
Fun snacks, cider, and hot cocoa will be available.
BML is so excited to celebrate Halloween with you!!
