Teen Advisory Board

BML’s Teen Advisory Board meets on the first Saturday of every month at 2 pm.
What is the Teen Advisory Board?
- The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of teens that meet on the first Saturday of the month month at Breeden Memorial Library in Leavenworth
- TAB’s main goal is to advise librarian Tina Brison on books to add to the library’s collections, programs for teens, and tech issues. TAB will help BML become a great library for teens
- Perks include snacks at meetings, opportunities to make new friends, first dibs on new books, and volunteer hours
- If you would like to join us at our next TAB meeting, return your application to BML by the last Wednesday of the month.
- Applications are accepted throughout the year for future meetings.
- Please be sure to answer all the questions on the form
Requirements to join:
- Be 13-19 years old
- Live in Crawford County
- Have a library card at BML
- Be able to attend monthly meetings (missing 3 or more is grounds for dismissal)
- Be willing to participate in TAB discussions and voice your opinions
- Be willing to respect the opinions, tastes, privacy, and choices of others
- Volunteer at library events outside of meetings
