BML Teen Advisory Board

BML’s Teen Advisory Board meets on the first Saturday of every month at 2 pm.

What is the Teen Advisory Board?

  • The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of teens that meet on the first Saturday of the month month at Breeden Memorial Library in Leavenworth
  • TAB’s  main goal is to advise librarian Tina Brison on books to add to the library’s collections, programs for teens, and tech issues. TAB will help BML become a great library for teens
  • Perks include snacks at meetings, opportunities to make new friends, first dibs on new books, and volunteer hours
  • If you would like to join us at our next TAB meeting, return your application to BML by the last Wednesday of the month.
  • Applications are accepted throughout the year for future meetings.
  • Please be sure to answer all the questions on the form

Requirements to join:

  • Be 13-19 years old
  • Live in Crawford County
  • Have a library card at BML
  • Be able to attend monthly meetings (missing 3 or more is grounds for dismissal)
  • Be willing to participate in TAB  discussions and voice your opinions
  • Be willing to respect the opinions, tastes, privacy, and choices of others
  • Volunteer at library events outside of meetings
